I will serve the Lord

This past weekend Aaron and I got the opportunity to go with Jordan, Aaron's little brother, through the temple. Jordan is getting ready to go on a mission. I was so excited he was going through the SL Temple, it is one of my favs. It is so beautiful and the spirit was so strong. It was the first time I have been to a temple since Austin was born, it was a much needed visit!

We are very proud of Jordan! He leaves September 3rd for the MTC and than it's off to Portugal to serve the Lord.

Congrats Jordan, we love you and are very proud of you!

Since we were going to SL to go to the temple we decided to make a weekend trip out of it and spend the time with Aaron's family which is always fun! We went and saw the new batman movie - SO GOOD!!!! And we also went to Raging Waters - a water park.

For My Aunts

So Austin and I were having a talk and he was telling me that he really misses his Aunts (the ones he doesn't get to see much- Mindee, Danee, Chelsee, and Cyndee). So he decided that he wanted to do his own post for them to let them know what he has been up to lately.....

I have grown so much you would not believe it. Mom was in shock when she found out that I now weight 17 lbs! What can I say Im a healthy boy, and I love to eat!

My hair has also grown a lot - yeah I am spikin it now, I know it's pretty cool!

I am also big enough now that Mom and Dad took me to the baseball game

I've discovered my tounge, It's so much fun - it's really cute when I smile and stick it out, but mom hasn't caught that on camera yet!

Mom also lets Gizmo by me once and a while. Boy do I LOVE Gizmo, he's funny - I like to laugh at him. It was fun when dad put him in the washtub when mom was trying to do my 5 month portraits.

I also have a girlfriend - yeah, Im a stud. I think she likes me, she sits and smiles at me. Mom calls us binky buddies. She's cute!

I love stuffed animals, mostly because I like to bite them and hug them. Dad just won these two bears out of those claw machines - he's really good at it!

And of course I am trying so hard to crawl. I am getting so close, I get frustrated because I can get proped up on my hands and knees but I can't figure out how to move. But when ever I stay proped on my hands and knees mom gets really excited and claps and than I smile really big because she is silly!

And my jumper is still my fav! I could stay in that thing for hours, it's so fun - and a great work out. Mom says when I get really excited I can get some air. Sometimes I just ware myself out and I fall asleep.

So that's what I've been up to lately. I really miss you guys and I can't wait to see you again! Maybe by than I will be crawling - I really hope so!

15. Who kissed who first? I kissed me on Halloween in front of his little sister - yeah who does that!
16. Who asked who out? He asked me to Prom my sophmore year and I didn't know who he was - and I am so glad he did.
17. Who proposed? Aaron did - right when I came out of the bathroom with a towel on...yeah he has such great timing.
18. Who is more sensitive? Me all the way.

20. What were you doing 10 years ago? I was in 8th grade and he was a Freshmen so we didn't know each other than.

Misty: I HATE PIZZA, I collect Precious Moments, I always wear Flip Flops, When I eat a cheeseburger I have to eat the outside first - in a circle. Im addicted to TJ Maxx, secretly wishes could be crafty.


Aaron: his feet and butt are so tickleish, won't eat veggies, Hates it when his hands are wrinkled from water - but loves baths, Wanted to be a realtor, snores like none other (except his dad), Eats the outside of cheeseburgers and steaks so I can eat the inside - he's so sweet.

~*Guitar Hero*~

I know we are a little behind in the CRAZY of Guitar Hero. Aaron's mom bought Aaron a Wii for Christmas and we finally brought it home (well it's at our friends house right now) and she bought us the Guitar Hero game for Easter.....well ever since Austin was born either one of us has even played the Wii, let alone even open the new game. So yesterday I was telling Aaron that I totally LOVE Aerosmith and I think it would be fun to learn to play Guitar Heros and get the Aerosmith one...so Aaron went out and bought the Aerosmith game and we sent Austin off to Grandma and Grandpa's and we went to our friends (Jessica and Zach) house. We brought the two guitars and rocked out.....well Jessica and Zach did, Aaron and I suck! But we had a lot of fun. And I have a SWEET Aerosmith guitar. Aaron was getting mad because he wasn't good at it right away. I was terrible and still loved it.

My pups...not pups anymore

Ok so many of you with think I am a dork but a couple of days ago my two black labs turned two years old and I was going through some old pics of when we first moved into our house and got them and so I decided to post some pics, they were so sweet! Now they are much bigger and so playful...they are finally calming down and aren't so hyper all the time. But anyways here are some pics of Missy and Kelso when they were a few months old.

It will be so much fun when Austin is big enough to play with them....or ride them! :)

4th of July at Bear Lake

For the 4th of July the McLaughlan's decided to go camping at Bear Lake for the weekend. We had a blast. We played on the beach everyday, set off our own fireworks on the beach, ate some good food - thanks to Mindee, and played with the jetski's. And I know what you are all thinking - do they ever stay home on the weekends, and no we don't - but we have tons of fun together! Even though I am way behind on my photos, I am glad we went!
