Another fun Weekend in Utah

This past weekend we made, yet again, another trip to Utah! :) I love our weekends away in Utah always full of fun! But the reason for this trip wasn't fun - we went down to go to a funeral for Dan's (my father-in-law) cousin. But we made a fun getaway out of the trip. We left Thursday and got back last night.

After the funeral we went to Trolley Square and ate at a good place - Rodizio Grill.
Saturday Aaron and his Dad were in the Golf Wasatch Long Day Golf Challenge with Brittan & Wynn (Aaron's Uncles). While Aaron and Dan golfed all day, Jan and I did what we love to do - we went to Park City and went shopping! Which is always fun, and Austin always gets cute new clothes!

We stayed at a neat little resort called Homestead - tons to do there. We didn't have much time but hopefully next time we will get to do more.

This was Austin this morning - he was so worn out from the fun weekend. I love to sneak up on him when he is sleeping and I'll say his name and he'll smile in his sleep - SO CUTE!

~The story behind Austin's stuffed friends Goldwyn & Hobble~

So we went and ate at ihop one morning and Grandma Jan bought Austin a cute stuffed dog - named Goldwyn. OH my gosh did Austin just LOVE him. He hugged him and loved on him the whole trip! It was so funny! But on the way home we noticed that Austin had loved him so much that he loved the stuffing right out of him (the seems had come undone and the stuffing was coming out) so we had to take Goldwyn back and exchange for another one, well when we found another ihop they didn't have another Goldwyn so Grandma Jan picked out a cute teddy bear named Hobble. I was sad for Goldwyn (I've always had a very soft spot for stuffed animals which was implanted in me as a kid by my mom) but Austin loves Hobble just the same!

Yesterday was Aaron's birthday and I think he had a good time. I wanted to do something special and different since it was his 25th. So Monday I surprised him with a BBQ full of friends and family. He said he had no idea so it was fun. A night full food, family, and friends. He loved it.

And yesterday Jan and Dan took us to the Idaho Falls Chuckars game. That was a blast. Made me miss softball a lot! We didn't get home until midnight. The game went 13 innings and than we waiting a half hour for the fireworks. Aaron passed passed the time bay running the bases with all the little kids after the game, it was hillarious! I love that he is goofy like that, he makes things interesting! I love him so much and I am glad he is my husband and I couldn't of picked a better father for Austin!

Happy Father's Day

Since it was Aaron's first Father's Day, I wanted it to be extra special. I wanted to include all of his fav. things and just have a fun filled day. So that's what we did. A day full of: Family, Big Boy Toys, and Golf!


We started out our day by going to church, Austin decided to get the giggles and he laughed pretty much the whole time during the first speaker (it was really cute) - than he got bored and slept through the rest of church.

Right after church we decided to take advantage of the family pool and give Austin his first swim. Austin didn't like it to much, he'd wimper everytime Aaron would put him in the pool - so Aaron decided to take him for a ride in the golf cart, that was fun, he really liked that.


After crusin around the block on the cart we headed to my parents house to go visit my dad, and my brothers were there with their families which was nice. And my parents were nice enough to watch Austin for a few minutes while Aaron tooke me for a ride. It was such wonderful weather all day we didn't want to be inside so I told Aaron he could go golf - I am totally against this on Sunday but we let it slide because it was his day.

We went golfing (after I dressed Austin up in his golf outfit - so cute) and Aaron tried to teach me how to golf....Im such a natural! :) NOT! I only got like a double bogey.....times two! But we had a lot of fun. Austin slept through 7 of the holes. He feels the same way about golf as I do....


So Aaron got to do whatever he wanted and I think he had a pretty good first Father's Day - I don't know why I did that because next year I'll have to come up with an even better day to outdo this year.

We had a wonderful day! Aaron is such a wonderful father, Austin adores him so much. We are very lucky to have Aaron in our lives. I love you so much babe! Thank's for all that you do, your the best! I hope this was a Father's Day to remember!

My baby boy is 4 months old!

I can't believe that today, Austin is 4 months old already!

I know I haven't posted much about his little milestones, I've been staying really busy with my photography. So I decided to make one big blog about the past month and what Austin is doing now. And of course I have photos of everything so enjoy watching my babe grow as I have enjoyed every second I get to spend with him as he grows so fast.....

He rolls over from is back to front (all the time now) and reaches for toys. Last month he hated being on his belly and now all he wants to do (besides stand) is be on his belly - he even swims, he tries hard to move - when he learns to crawl I am in trouble!

He has always loved baths but now he plays and splashes.

He has grown out of his bassinet, he rolls over in his sleep now.

Loves to be read to, his first book was, "Just for you" one of the Little Critter books - they were my fav when I was little so I had to buy them!

He has now tastes his first baby cereal, it didn't go so well the first time, he kept pushing it out with his tounge but it was cute to watch him discover it.

And as of yesterday he is using the bigger bottle - he's up to 6 oz. (somtimes)

And as of last night he is sleeping in his crib in his own room....

My baby is growing up on me way to fast! I love him to pieces! And I am so blessed to be able to watch him grown and discover new things.
