Accident-prone??

Everyday my little buddy becomes more and more like his daddy!

We spent the weekend in Neola, Utah with Aaron's family (Aaron's sister Mindee, and her family, live there). And Austin accidentally put his hand on the stove burner while it was still on from breakfast...I have never heard him scream so loud. He had burned his right palm and was hesterically crying. I felt so bad for him. I had no clue what to do, I felt helpless! Mindee helped me (Keagan, her son, had burned both his hands when he was Austin's age) and than Jan took us to find some medicine. He cried for almost 2 hours and I just wanted to cry with him - I felt like the worst mom, I wasn't even in the room at the time.

Grandma Jan took us for a ride and Austin was still crying...but once Grandma stopped at McDonalds and got Austin some fries - he stopped crying. He is definately his father's son.

I wonder if he is going to be accident-prone just like his daddy. Aaron is always hurting himself...some of that has to do with the dumb things he does when he is around his friends (and brother-in-law) Aaron will do anything you tell him to do! But it makes me worried that Austin will be the same way. He is already a little mini Aaron.

He went along with Grandma Jan and Aunt Danee to the doctors today

and Jan had them check his hand and I they gave her some stuff

to help his little blisters. Thanks Grandma!

I miss my baby....

Right now my little buddy is in Utah with his Aunt Mindee and I am going through some major withdrawls! Austin's Aunt Danee went to stay with Mindee for Spring Break and Aunt Mindee asked if Austin could come too. It's so nice of Aunt Mindee to take Austin since I have been really busy with photography sessions.
Both Aaron and I have been sick so I guess it's a good thing he isn't here to get the bug. I thought how nice it would be to have the weekend to myself to clean (since my house is in desperate need!) but I got the wonderful 24 hour flu that is going around. And poor Aaron has been in bed all day today with a bug. And our house is still a wonderful mess!
Oh I miss my little buddy who by the way isn't a baby anymore. He is my little big boy! I haven't posted the new things Austin is doing so I thought I'd post some pictures to show just how much of a big boy he is becoming!

Last week his daddy spent some evenings working on our deck so

Austin would open the door and walk right outside to see daddy.

This made me laugh so hard.

Fun with the Cuz

Friday afternoon I got the chance to watch my two nephews for a little while. I was so excited because Kyler the youngest likes to be cuddled so I got to snuggle with him the whole time (Austin doesn't snuggle anymore, unless he is almost asleep). Bowen and Austin played the whole time. It was nice having someone else there to entertain Austin. Besides Austin trying to sit on Bowen half the time, I think they had fun together. Thanks for letting me watch your adorable boys Danielle, bring them by anytime!
