I have a new obsession

That's right I am OBSESSED!!!! I LOVE to decorate cakes!

And I am so proud of myself because I have wanted to learn how to decorate with fondant for the past year and so I finally just jumped right in and taught myself!

It is SOOOOOooooo much FUN!

I thought I would share with everyone my little cake designs I have done in the past two weeks:

It is tons of fun...and needless to say, my diet isn't going so well! :)

Austin's 2nd Birthday Party

This year we did a little get together with our family and close friends for Austin's 2nd birthday. We did a cars theme this year and I made a special cars cake (all by myself). And it seems like it was all for NOTHIN' The little turkey cried the whole time. He is in the stage of not taking naps - unless we are driving. So Sunday when we had his party he hadn't had a nap all day and I think he was sleepy. He cried at his cake, he cried at his presents, and he cried when he was playing - so finally after 2 hours I just put him in his crib and he cried himself to sleep. It was a disaster, but nice to see the family and friends.

Two is better than one!

(I have been horrible about my blogging! We just have so much going on with these two little cuties in our lives! I have been busy today trying to catch up so there are many back post that I just posted! )

I sure do LOVE my kiddos...and they LOVE each other!

Austin loves to give Mylee kisses. And when ever Mylee sees Austin she gets a huge open mouth smile on her face! I love watching them together. Austin even entertained Mylee for me while I got some photo editing done yesterday - it was wonderful, she just sat in her little chair and watched him play for like 30 minutes straight (no crying). I just hope they stay close and are friends.

This was so cute...a few days ago when I was doing laundry Austin threw Mylee's blanket into one of the baskets and said "Mylee" my first thought was, NO WAY! But then I decided to see how this would play out...so I put Mylee in the basket and told Austin to be careful! He pushed her around and she just smiled.

I don't know why I ever worried about having two and close together! I wouldn't change a thing!

Happy Valentine's Day

or maybe not so happy...

I just love it when people say, "oh your kids are so wonderful when it comes to pictures"... I usually just smile and say thanks while inside I am laughing! My kids are not wonderful, not even close! I just never post the horrible pictures, and I have to work REALLY HARD just to get decent pictures! So I thought I'd post this to prove a point. I tried so hard to get BOTH of my kids happy in the same picture, I even paid a professional photographer and it still didn't work out!

For those of you who think my kids are "wonderful" think again! :)

Birthday Boy

My little boy turned 2 today!!!

Just wanted to post a few pictures from his birthday dinner! We decided to go check out Blastoff in Idaho Falls and we had a lot of fun!

He joined in on the SkeeBall fun...but didn't get why people were throwing them underhanded - so he tried a couple over handed :) So he had to quit that game...

He quickly found the ball pit and started throwing those!

As you can see Austin had a wonderful birthday dinner at blastoff!

My little 4-month-old

Mylee is now 4 months (well 4 1/2 - Im a little late with the post)
She is still tiny. We had her check-up last week and she weighed in at a whoppin'

10 lbs. 3 oz. - (5 percentile)
23 inches - (5 -10 percentile)

I finally put away her Newborn clothes last month and she is now in size 1 diapers!
I am a little worried she won't be able to fit into her winter clothes that are 3-6 months since she is still in her 0-3 months clothes. She is still in her bassinet (we are afraid she will never get sleep if we put her in her crib, since Austin and her share a room and Austin always wakes up in the middle of the night screaming). She is still at about 3 - 3 1/2 oz. per feeding (I am still nursing but I am now trying to supplament her with a little formula). The doctor didn't seem worried about her weight at all. It is so weird having a baby in the 5-10 percentile when your used to your kid being in the 50% for weight and 90% for height!

I have been trying to get her to eat cereal

(she can't quite figure out how to keep it in her mouth)
and I don't know if she likes it very much!

She finally fits into her cute little Vans shoes (thanks Aunt Danee) which are size 1.

Any time you try and lay her on her back, she flips right over on her belly.

I think she loves her tummy time, she is even trying to scoot.

I think she is done with her bouncy chair.

Anytime I put her in it 5 seconds later...

Look what Mylee did today!

Yeap that's right she sat up by herself...only for a minutes or so but it was so cute! I think she likes her pictures taken too! Makes me want to cry though...she is already out of the Newborn stage! :(
